The Food

Park Slope has one of the most major food scenes in Brooklyn. The neighborhood is very upscale and contains a variety of cuisines prepared thoughtfully in both fine dining and casual settings. Though this list by no means does the neighborhood justice, here are several of our favorites:

  • Al Di La Trattoria: This old-World Italian restaurant is Michelin-starred and features mouthwatering northern Italian favorites. Al Di La Trattoria is known for their risottos, but as always, pay attention to the specials and you will be absolutely delighted.
  • Bricolage: Delicious, updated Vietnamese cuisine served alongside an inspired drink menu, in a fantastic relaxed atmosphere with a lush green back patio.
  • Patsy’s Pizzeria: This New York City pizza dynasty is a heavyweight champion at serving some of New York’s finest Sicilian coal oven thin-crust pizza. Patsy’s Pizzeria has been around since 1933 and can trace its NYC roots back even further. This is a great place to take out-of-town visitors.
  • Miriam: This authentic Israeli restaurant serves up a seasonal menu of Mediterranean flavors from around the world. This is one of the best places for brunch in New York City.
  • Bogota Latin Bistro: Often called “Brooklyn’s Hottest Latin Restaurant”, Bogota Latin Bistro serves up pan-Latin favorites like Bandeja de Paisa, Empanadas, and Arroz con Pollo. Do not miss this Colombian favorite. Buen provecho!
